Annual giving is a yearly fund-raising effort to support the ongoing work of RSD. Your contributions can have a dramatic impact on the lives of our students and their ability to learn and succeed in life. Annual gifts provide unrestricted funds that are used to support teaching, technology, equipment, facilities and other educational initiatives at RSD.

Corporations and foundations are welcome to participate in RSD's annual giving program by providing grants to support the educational mission of the school. Such grants were vital to the development of RSD's highly successful physical education, athletics, and Outreach Services programs. Grants also support the RSD's Shared Reading Project, which teaches parents how to encourage more reading at home, and the school's science lab.

If you would like to make a charitable donation to support the education of deaf and hard-of-hearing children in our community, RSD has several planned giving options to consider. Planned giving can significantly reinforce the educational mission of RSD and also provides valuable tax and estate planning benefits as well. Examples of planned giving donations including bequests, annuities, and real estate are just some of the options you can explore. RSD always recommends that you discuss these and other options with your accountant or financial advisor to determine which option is best for you and your family.
