RSD Middle School Website In kindergarten through 12th grades, instruction at RSD includes: • English Language Arts (ELA) • American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf Studies • Mathematics, Science and Technology • Social Studies • Physical Education and Health • Art and Music RSD Middle School, for children in 6th through 8th grades, provides instruction focused on expanding students’ knowledge. As children mature they become more responsible for their own academic success. Programs such as RSD Middle School Student Court also empower students to take responsibility for their behavior both in school and in the community. Frequent communication with parents ensures that families are very much involved in their child’s performance. While working with parents, RSD Middle School staff guide students as they discover the power they have to create a successful future through the choices they make.
